Thank you for choosing to be part of our community at KeyMotive ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. If you have questions or concerns about this policy or our data practices, contact us at webmaster@keymotive.net.
When you visit our website (mykeymotive.com), use our mobile application, or use our services, you trust us with your personal information. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have — and applies to all information collected through our website, mobile application ("Apps"), and any related services, sales, marketing, or events (collectively, the "Services").
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when registering for the Services or Apps, expressing interest in our products and services, participating in activities on the Services or Apps (such as posting messages or entering competitions), or otherwise contacting us. This may include:
All personal information you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes.
We automatically collect information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services or Apps, including IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, general location, and usage information. This is used to maintain security and operation of the Services and for internal analytics and reporting.
We may obtain information about you from other sources, such as public databases, joint marketing partners, and other third parties, including social media profile information and marketing leads. Where required by law, we will inform you of the source and type of information collected within a reasonable period, and no later than one month after obtaining it.
↑ Back to topWe may process or share data based on the following legal bases: consent; legitimate interests; performance of a contract; legal obligations (e.g., court orders, subpoenas, national security or law enforcement requests); and vital interests (e.g., investigating fraud or safety threats). We may share your information in these situations:
Under California and other state privacy laws, some of the sharing described above — in particular, sharing with third-party advertisers for cross-context behavioral advertising — may legally be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, even though no money changes hands. See Sections 12 and 13 for your rights to opt out.
↑ Back to topWe use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as web beacons and pixels) to operate the Services, remember your preferences, and, where applicable, support advertising and analytics. As described in Section 3, some of this data may be shared with service providers and third-party advertising partners; where that sharing meets the legal definition of a "sale" or "sharing" under applicable state law, Sections 12 and 13 explain your right to opt out.
We provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link, and we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out request where legally required.
↑ Back to topThis website, mobile application, or Facebook application uses Google Maps APIs. You may review the Google Maps APIs Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy to better understand Google's practices. By using our Maps API implementation, you agree to be bound by Google's Terms of Service, and you agree to allow us to obtain or cache your location. You may revoke this consent at any time.
↑ Back to topThe Services or Apps may contain advertisements from third parties not affiliated with us, which may link to other websites, online services, or mobile applications. We cannot guarantee the safety or privacy of data you provide to any third party, and any data collected by third parties is not covered by this privacy policy. Review the policies of any third party directly.
↑ Back to topWe will only keep your personal information for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). No purpose in this policy requires us to keep your personal information for longer than 6 months past termination of your account.
When we no longer have an ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will delete or anonymize it or, if that is not possible (e.g., because it is stored in backup archives), securely store and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.
↑ Back to topWe have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the personal information we process. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Transmission of personal information to and from the Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services in a secure environment.
↑ Back to topWe do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services or Apps, you represent that you are at least 18, or that you are the parent or guardian of a minor and consent to that minor's use of the Services or Apps.
Where the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) applies — i.e., with respect to any user we know to be under 13 — we do not knowingly collect personal information from that user without verifiable parental consent. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable steps to promptly delete the data. Contact us at webmaster@keymotive.net if you become aware of any such data.
↑ Back to topIf you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; request correction or deletion; restrict or object to our processing; request a portable copy of your data; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at webmaster@keymotive.net. We rely on the following legal bases under Article 6 GDPR: consent, performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, and our legitimate interests (as described in Section 2).
Where we transfer personal information outside the EEA/UK, we do so under an approved transfer mechanism, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful basis for transfer. Our data protection officer may be reached at dataprotection@keymotive.net.
If you believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you have the right to complain to your local data protection supervisory authority. Contact details are available here.
If you would like to review, change, or terminate your account at any time, you may:
Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. Some information may be retained where necessary to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist investigations, enforce our Terms of Use, or comply with legal requirements.
Most web browsers accept cookies by default; you can usually set your browser to remove or reject cookies, though this may affect certain features. To opt out of interest-based advertising, visit aboutads.info/choices.
You may unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in the email, or by contacting us using the details in Section 15. You will continue to receive service-related emails necessary for account administration.
↑ Back to topMost web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature. No uniform technology standard for DNT has been finalized industry-wide. However, where required by law, we do recognize and honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for residents of states that require it (see Sections 12 and 13).
↑ Back to topIf you are a California resident, you have the right to: (1) know what personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, and sold or shared about you, and to request the specific pieces of that information; (2) request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions; (3) request correction of inaccurate personal information; (4) opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; (5) limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information; and (6) not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
In the preceding 12 months, we may have disclosed the categories of personal information described in Section 1 to service providers as described in Section 3, and may have shared certain identifiers and internet/network activity information with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising, which may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 18 years of age.
To exercise your rights, submit a request to webmaster@keymotive.net. We will verify your identity before processing your request. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, subject to our ability to verify that authorization.
California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code Section 1798.83) separately permits California residents to request, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. Submit such requests in writing using the contact information in Section 15.
If you are under 18, reside in California, and have a registered account with the Services or Apps, you have the right to request removal of content you have publicly posted. Contact us using the information in Section 15, including the email address associated with your account and a statement that you reside in California. We will remove the content from public view, though it may not be completely removed from our systems.
↑ Back to topIf you are a resident of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, or another state with a comprehensive privacy law in effect, you may have the right to: confirm whether we process your personal information; access, correct, or delete your personal information; obtain a portable copy of your data; opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, or profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects; and appeal a denial of a rights request. To exercise these rights, contact us at webmaster@keymotive.net.
↑ Back to topWe may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised "Last Updated" date, and will be effective as soon as it is accessible. If we make material changes, we will notify you by prominently posting a notice of the changes or by directly notifying you. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
